Eligible Applicants

Person who is recruited as an (elementary, middle, high) school teacher or foreign language instructor in private foreign language institute (Except for interpreter/translator)

Person who applied for EPIK (English Program in Korea)

- Only eligible for USA, UK, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, Austrailia residents

- post-undergraduate degree(or higher) needed

Person who applied for TaLK (Teach and Leam in Korea)

- Only eligible for USA, UK, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, Austrailia residents

- post-college degree needed(or higher)

- Person who had formal education more than 10 years in their country, and 2 years in the college in Korea

- (For overseas Korean) Person who graduated elementary/middle school and also stayed for at least 8 years

   in the above mentioned country and graduated community college (or higher) in Korea

up to 2 years

Required Documents

Applicants for EPIK or TaLK program

- Application for the visa inssuance

- Photocopy of passport/one standard-size photograph

- Certificate of EPIK / letter of invitation related to Talk

- Contract of employment with superintendent of education

Applicants for an (elementary or higher) school teacher or foreign language instructor in private academy

- Application for the visa inssuance

- Photocopy of passport/one standard-size photograph

- Academic credential confirmed by a public authority

- Criminal records issued and confirmed by a public authority (less than 6 months old)

- Self Health Assessment Report

- Employment Contract, a relevant document for establishing a private academy or group

Visa Inssuance Procedure

Available in the diplomatic office located in the countries abroad

- For person who applies for EPIK or TaLK program : Visa issued at the discretion or the head of the

   diplomatic office

- For person who is recruited as an instructor in private academy : Visa issuance needed
