Eligible Applicants

Students who are enrolled in college or higher education.

※ not eligible for enrolling Vocational Training Institute, extension courses, and Distance learning University.

Length of Stay

up to 2 years (Renewable)

Required Documents

1) Visa application form

2) Photocopy of passport

3) 1 standard size photograph (less than 6 months old)

4) Photocopy of business Registration Certificate (or distinct number certificate) of a respective education

institute

5) Required document for each courses

Associate degree
Bachelor's degree
Master's degree Ph.D

6) Documents providing the final level of education

7) Documents providing the financial ability to support tuition fee and finance

for stay

Specific Research Program

8) Documents providing the final level of education (master's degree

or higher)

9) Documents providing funds for stay (Bank account balance, Research

Allowance Confirmation, etc)

Exchange Students

10) Documents providing finance for stay

11) Recommendation letter issued by university of one's country

12) Student exchange agreement between universities

13) Proof of enrollment of current university in one's country

14) Standard Acceptance letter

Procedure

Applicants in your country

- Apply at a Korea diplomatic mission

Applicants in Korea

- Visitation to an immigration (branch) office in areas where school is located

Remarks

Part-time work for D-2 Visa holders

- Only non-professional occupations

- Required to confirmed by head of international student affairs at school and an immigration office

- Time limit (Except for legal holidays and vacations)

undergraduate/language course up to 20 hours /week
Post graduate up to 20 hours /week

- Required document : Photocopy of passport, Alien registration card, job application, recommendation

   letter for a job, official transcript

- Students below 70% of attendance rate and 2.0 GPA are not applicable for work
